Our FOLLOWME task chair has won the prestigious iF Design Award

8. 4. 2024

Our FOLLOWME task chair has achieved international success again: in addition to the German Design Award, it has now won the iF Design Award.

The iF Design Awards have been presented annually since 1954. They belong among the most important design awards globally. Thousands of designers, architects and companies from all over the world participate in the event every year in order to have the design of their products judged by independent experts. This year’s competition was really tough, too. The jury of 132 independent experts judged almost 11,000 products from 72 countries.

The FOLLOWME chair won an award in the Office category. In designing this chair, Andreas Krob focused especially on an innovative type of backrest, which flexibly responds to every movement and provides more support for the back without having to be adjusted in a complicated way. Another important feature of this chair is its slightly elevated seat, which helps your spine to keep its S-shaped curve while you sit without a lumbar support or without you paying special attention to your way of sitting. “Whether you are resting your back and thinking, stretching your body upwards or looking over your shoulder, any small or large movement of your back is immediately reflected in the backrest.”
